The site called for a complete demolition of the original tramshed to be replaced by mixed use, predominately residential units of 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. The family-friendly development was designed to provide good economic use of the previous developed land within the settlement. Due to the nature of the site, the proposal is designed as a car-free development, supported by its central location, and provision of storage space for bicycles.
